Well, another wedding anniversary and cruise were both enjoyed on Norwegian’s Joy the first of the month. We love to celebrate our anniversary but during Spring break can be a bit challenging. That being said, we had a lovely time visiting the following: Rotan Bay Islands, Honduras, Harvest Caye, Belize, Costa Maya & Cosumel, Mexico. I am blessed to work with wonderful people who allow me to take some time off and who take great care of our customers.

A cruise is such an amazing way to vacation! I am always intrigued by the lighting on ships. So many details to take care of but they have learned that lighting shows off and accents their special decorations, displays, bars, artwork, theatres, restaurants and much more. Builders learned that long ago. Ships don’t skimp on lighting and love to make them statement pieces. I have included some pictures of ones that took my breath away.

Our customers have the same mindset as ships. They want fixtures that “pop” and say, “look at me” and they want these fixtures to offer a welcoming feeling and to represent their taste. At Nancy B’s House of Lights, we listen to our clients, discuss options, answer their questions and concerns and only then, make suggestions. While we may not offer some of the wild lighting that was on our ship, we do offer new, fresh, and exciting lighting that is sure to please.
