Nancy B’s House of Lights is pleased to provide the only lamp repair service in Charlottesville, VA! Our experienced repairman is skilled in rewiring lamps, exterior fixtures, pendants, chandeliers, and more. At times, only new sockets are needed to restore your cherished possession to its former glory. In addition, we offer new canopies, lamp bases, candle sleeves, saddles, and extra chains to ensure the complete restoration of your fixture.

Our valued clients can expect prompt service, with estimates usually provided within two days. Upon approval, repairs will be completed within a few days, except when parts need to be ordered, which may result in a longer lead time. We take pride in performing all repairs on-site by our professional repairman.

Our standard hourly rate is $45.00, excluding any required repair parts. Please note that clients are required to sign a waiver releasing us from liability for any damages that may occur during the repair process. We make every effort to handle your precious possessions with the utmost care and prevent any damages. However, please be aware that older lamps may be prone to cracking or breaking when disassembled for repairs. Ceramic lamps, in particular, are more susceptible to such issues.

Clients are requested to retain any glass, fabric shades, finals or harps that are not required for repairs. Upon arrival, your fixture will be inspected for any scratches or markings. We kindly ask that you pick up your lamp or fixture within two weeks of completion. In cases where we are unable to reach you after multiple attempts, and 30 days have elapsed, we will donate the item to Habitat for Humanity or Goodwill.
