Online Ordering Shipping Charges
The following are shipping charges for Nancy B’s House of Lights:
Items that cannot be shipped by UPS or FedEx package delivery may be subject to truck freight charges. A representative from Nancy B’s House of Lights will email you tracking information once your package has shipped. Overnight (red) or two day (blue) shipping is available incurring an additional fee.
All products sold by Nancy B’s House of Lights are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have purchased a product from us and find it to be defective, please contact us at 434-975-4448 for assistance in processing your claim. We will not be liable for installation fees of any kind.
Online Product Images
Nancy B’s House of Lights employs the best imaging software in an effort to display products in the most accurate showing possible. We cannot guarantee that the depiction you see on your own computer monitor matches the true color of the item; the display in part depends on the type and settings of your computer monitor.
Shipping Lead Times
Nancy B’s House of Lights strives to provide our customers with the most accurate information on product availability. If your purchase or project is time sensitive, it is strongly suggested that you contact us at 434-975-4448.
Many items can be shipped from our store within five business days. Merchandise shipped from our manufacturers can take up to ten business days. Custom orders can take up to eight weeks. Please call us at 434-975-4448 for a more accurate estimate of delivery time.
Orders cannot be cancelled if they have already shipped from the factory or Nancy B’s House of Lights.
Damages/Defects and Errors
While receiving a damaged item is very unlikely, we will be happy to help you replace it. Kindly report any damages, defects or errors to received shipments promptly by calling 434-975-4448 or by priority email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You must provide Nancy B’s House of Lights your name, invoice number and description of defect. Nancy B’s House of Lights will issue a Return Goods Authorization number and will then handle the pickup of product at no cost to the consumer and ship a replacement out.
All returns must first be approved by a Nancy B’s House of Lights representative. All non-approved returns are subject to refusal. Returns will not be accepted after 15 days of receipt of order.
A 30% restocking fee will be charged for the return of goods that are non-defective. Return shipping chargers are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned in their original packaging with all packing materials and must be in salable condition. Items that have been installed are not returnable. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable. Credit (minus the aforementioned deductions) will be issued upon full inspection of returned items by a Nancy B’s House of Lights representative. Make sure you hold onto the original boxes and packaging.
Exceptions and Items Not Eligible for Return
Unfortunately, under certain circumstances, there are some items that can be purchased that are not eligible for product return. These exceptions and items are as follows…
- Items sold as Closeout, Discontinued, or Reduced Price Products.
- Custom Products.
- Made-to-Order Products (Any item that has been assembled, installed, modified or used in any way).
- Items that have been installed or have had cut wires.
- Items without prior Return Authorization.
- Items received more than 15 days ago.
- Any item without all original packaging OR packaging with markings or damage.
- Lamp shades with the protective plastic removed.
- Light bulbs, parts, glass, etc.
