In many cases, you may be able to extend the life of lamps by replacing old wiring. Old fixtures can have wiring that has become brittle, or a house pet may have chewed it. The wiring should be replaced for safety purposes. We always run our fingers along the wiring and note any damages. Sockets can also be replaced or modified to accept a three-way bulb or higher wattage bulb. We also replace halogen bulbs with new, more energy-efficient LED replacements when desired.

You can “upcycle” your older shades to restore their beauty. We can have shades relined or recovered by sending them away. This may incur a freight charge, and involves a wait until they are returned. It’s often less expensive (and more fun!) to replace a lampshade and update the style of your lighting with shades from our wide selection of designer shades. A new lampshade can make your lamp look modern and add style to your interior.
