    Christmas Ornaments

I hope your Thanksgiving was a time of great food and giving thanks. This year has been a tough one no doubt and many of us did not have friends or family join us for Thanksgiving and may not for Christmas. However, we still have much for which to be grateful. Did we each wake up this morning? As 2020 nears the end, we have hope that 2021 will be a year of good health, friends, family, food on the table, roof over our heads and clothes to wear. These seem rather simple requests but there are many who lack these. May we remember these folks and share what we can. Food banks, The Salvation Army and yes, the men and women standing on the corners all can use any help we may offer.

As I looked at our Christmas tree this morning, I noticed a special heart shaped ornament given to me by one of my daughters. Today, I looked at it differently. It seemed to speak to me. My heart is full with appreciation to so many. I am grateful for you, our customer. I am also grateful for faithful employees, to our landlord, vendors and suppliers who stood beside us and have supported us through these past six months. My husband who watched me drag home, tired to the bone with worry and concern in my heart for those stricken with COVID-19 and hearing of businesses all around me closing. I speak from the heart when I say thank you to all of you who remind me of how blessed I am.

May you each have a wonderful Christmas and remember the real reason for this season.
